Alexis Williams has been an educator in the field of Special Education for 10 years.  She has a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction,  a dual Bachelor’s in Special Education and Elementary Education, and is a National Board Certified Teacher candidate. She has also been trained in managing crisis, including de-escalation and restraints.  

 

She is married to her high school sweetheart, John.  Together, they have two sons, ages 16 and 13.  They are an active family, and some of their hobbies include hiking, snorkelling, weightlifting, and serving in their community and other states and nations.  Alexis has a passion to  work with students of all ability levels to set goals and to help them to reach their potentials and to educate other adults on how to understand and help students with special needs.
