Safeguarding and participant safety
Before delivery, Life that Counts and each host organization define responsibility for supervision, family communication, emergency response, referrals, and required reporting. Participants receive clear role boundaries and instructions for involving an appropriate adult.
Peers and participants are not assigned counseling or crisis-response roles and are not asked to promise confidentiality. Concerns are referred to an appropriate adult through an established support pathway.
